The significance of the name of our agritourism. "Tempa" means a "rounded mountain top or a cupola, with craggy walls, common in the southern Apennines | precipice, canyon" (Dizionario De Mauro - Paravia). In fact, within the territory of our establishment, there is a large clay wall that accentuates the height difference between the various parts of the land. Plus, continuous exposure to the sun has brightened the wall. This stunning natural monument has, over the centuries, been christened "tempa bianca", and the term has even been adopted for maps and land registries.
